Ok great you can use google.
The flame temperature means nothing its about the MJ (flow) and kWh (output power in this case heat).
There's a reason some processes might use 1m^3 / min of Gas flow and another 10m^3 /min of Gas flow because the second needs more kWh to heat its process up.
So when he says heat he really means kWh (and indirectly flow MJ) in that they couldn't get the required flow rate (and consequently kWh) from the tank.
