Ann: Clarification Announcement, page-56

I was pleased to receive the above clarification notice advising the Tier 1 was Ford.

I pondered why this information was not included in the first notice.

Since then I have observed that neither notice has appeared on the BrainChip twitter feed and on the company’s web site the only reference to this agreement is in the list of ASX announcements but there it is only the first notice that does not reference Ford. There has been a further post to the list but it relates to an event after the clarification notice.

I suspect the agreement has some fairly strong non disclosure provisions but like all such agreements there are things which cannot be contracted out of one of which is any requirement at law to disclose details.

In relation to the first ASX notice this was required at law because it was material information. Ford in all probability vetted the announcement and signed off however the ASX then in line with its more proactive approach requisitioned more information be provided and as required by law BRN had to disclose the Tier 1 was Ford.

If I am correct this would explain the complete absence of details about Ford being involved in the web site or twitter feed as BRN are still bound by the NDA.

As such this the closest thing we retail investors will get to insider information.
