Maybe Merck has a policy of moving AFTER human trials in a way to de-risk and preserve cash. That would be a business strategy decision and not something ominous for share holders.
I would put the panic selling down to a ripple in a tea cup.
As someone mentioned earlier, the fundamentals have not changed one bit. Wish I had some funds to buy more and take advantage of the frayed nerves of those who sold the SP down.
