I looked at this before when I stated that these guys have only invested in one patent in ten years.
The CVM tech expires towards the end of this decade from memory, I think Drake said a few years not two years, I'm unsure of exactly when and I can't be bothered looking as the new USPTO site sucks.
If Drake did say two years then that's plain wrong.
I know that the most recent one isn't CVM. Hey, it may well be better though. That one expire next decade sometime. It's not something that the company is promoting (that I know about anyway).
I think that CVM runs out of protection in a few years and then, if we've established it's awesome, others will get to use and or supply it for nothing.
