The shorters only come in once stock is available to borrow...That only occurs if the stock is held by index managers who hold their stock with custodians. That only occurs when they are in the asx200 or less in asx300. So as
@Surfguy says, shorters are only interested after the stock is many times larger than today. I am sure everyone invested today will be happy when the stock is >30c.
The other point to note is shorter only get involved if the PE are too high and revenues are too optimistic. DRO still does not attract shorters, despite moving into ASX300 and close to ASX200 because the revenues are exploding..... My guess is the buyers will look to push it into the ASX200 by Sept.
