Brokers should get the options only after the raise the money; and issued subject to shareholder approval if there is a conflict of interest. No need to have asked shareholders for approval prior. it's back to front could of been handled better.
And brokers shouldn't be on boards
A/ too much conflict of interest and
B/ too much sway of board decisions if they are the keeper of the purse strings.
