Discussions with the ATO!!! What a load of crock and they have been found out.

Anybody who works in the area knows you need to lodge a request for a private ruling, before any meaningful consideration is given to your individual circumstances. Just ringing the ATO and being advised that your tax agent needs to lodge a request for ruling does not count as discussion in my book, hence the clarification IMO.

Once again it looks rushed. We are very likely to vote on the capital return without a ruling. What a mess.

In response to a query regarding Lai and if TH believes he is working for Cyber CX, I suggest maybe reaching out to TH. I find he is the type of guy who will rell you straight up where he stands.
