I would be ok with all this if they did it to mortgage brokers, everything recommended by financial advisers with trailing commissions etc. They are all in the same unethical rust bucket to me.

As you say though, it is possible asic will keep doing the same thing, slap on the wrist for the big boys, sacrifice a few smaller guys to placate the crowd. But can they post RC?
