    CLARIFICATION OF NEWS ARTICLE Galaxy Resources Limited (ASX:GXY)(“Galaxy”) notes that an article appeared in “The Australian” today referencing the Sal de Vida lithium project owned by Galaxy. As announced previously Galaxy is considering the various development options for its assets including the Sal de Vida project. This evaluation process is ongoing. At this stage there is nothing material to report, and Galaxy will update the market as required. The company requests the immediate lift of the trading halt.
