I think the conclusion will continue to elude us until the assays arrive.
Here's my logic (from a business valuation angle only):
I think the market is backing Chris Cairns to a large extent on past performance (IMO) which leads me to believe that the magic number of 426million for the sale of integra is influencing buying decisions.
2 very different operations but I still think it's being used as a benchmark on market.
I think there's potential here for an asset that could dwarf integra in the long term.
But Integra at the time of sale was a fully fledged profitable gold producer and the price of 426m was considered a premium.
Svy is an unknown explorer with a pretty uncertain future at this stage, yet it's mcap has reached almost $250m at peak last Friday. Almost 60% of the Integra sale price.
I think the results of the coming assays will be great but to justify the sp and keep it moving upwards, they need to be something spectacular.
We have a roller coaster ahead of us.
P.S anyone about to reply with a half arsed shot at me for comparing Staveley to integra should reread this post in its entirety.
