CLARIFICATION ON TERM OF THE NEW CONSOLIDATED EDIE CREEK MINING LEASE ML511Niuminco Group Limited (“NIU” or “the Company”) advises of an amendment/correction to the term of the above mining lease announced in the June 2020 Quarterly Activities Report.Following receipt yesterday of an emailed copy of the “New Grant” document from the Mineral Resources Authority (MRA), NIU sought clarification on the term of the lease which appeared to be ambiguous, and for a different term to the five (5) years stated in the earlier MRA notification letter.The MRA has today advised that the correct term of the lease is from 18 May 2020 to 5 October 2021, and that an amended lease document will be prepared and executed.It is NIU’s intention to commence the preparation of a renewal application for an extension of this lease, and to lodge the same as early as practicable.Authorised for release by the Board of directors of Niuminco Group Limited.
