Amazing... Do they actually think this is the reason the stock took a huge dump yesterday. They must because they actually took the time to release this statement. I could just imagine the panic going around the office yesterday and this is the best they could come up with.
This statement tells us nothing except that they are double dipping with the figures. Both sets of figures take into account July to December 2020. Everyone knows that this period was a blockbuster for e-commerce everywhere. They are using this period twice in the numbers to try give everyone the impression that post Covid they are still growing... When the market sees the actual PROFIT figures for Jan to June 21 only then will everyone be able to value the company accurately.
