Not north of US$140, not even $100.
Much lower strip ratios, thicker seams, super high value anthracite above 8500 kcal calorific value. IMO in discussion with multiple geologists that have been to the area and viewed the results. Whilst I stand by that statement, it is all in my opinion DYOR
    It is not volcanic!
It is closer to ancient volcano than East BBM and TBAR. Hence the heat has driven out the water and volatile matter leaving largely carbon. It is HIGH Rank coal/Anthracite.
It is probably appropriate to know that RANK is not a measure of time coal has been in the ground. It is the quality of the coal after it has been heated and squeezed over time to drive out the water and volatiles.
So importance is time in ground, heat applied via x source and depth of cover over millennia.
I forget how many years it has been in the ground.
The heat was via the ancient volcano.
The cover was a kilometre or so as this has a mountainous area the has been massively eroded by unbelievable rainfall. The rain washed away a kilometre of cover in the process washed away the massive thick low rank coals that cover the costal region of Kalimantan.
