yes it is compelling but if find it is hard to run numbers on any new drugs until we see more details announced but i think the pipeline of recent launches of around 10 drugs including the temozolamide, duragesic patches, gsk foams, budesonide, new doxy formulation, butalbital, amiodarone, morphine sulphate, etc etc.

your example is right in reiterating that the incremental npat for each new launch is potentially significant, especially for those first to market generics and large markets.

i agree with morningstar that the mild margin pressure at the customer does not represent a massive fundamental change and will be offset by the multiple positive growth drivers.

interesting to see that challenger pulled out but another fund has bought in.

some large shorting numbers over last two days which makes me think that perhaps challenger are the ones selling shorts?
