I will have to but i would sooner have the shares in the company that takes over , I know profit is profit i am a novice not a trader some how i landed on my feet with gor after taking a massive gamble some 12 to 14 yrs ago however i have recently retired at 70+ and like many contractors never had enough left to put into super so my shares are my backbone so if i have to pay $30 to 40 thousand in tax believe me it will realy hurt .My idea was to nible at it now and then when i need it .
