If you are referring to NST takeover of DEG and GOR getting NST shares...My understanding (and hope) is that they pass through the NST shares directly as a specie distribution. NST is not a developer like DEG was, and GOR has little to no value add to those NST shares. Selling that many NST shares to then hold cash also makes little sense.
As for taxation implications the NST shares would then be their own entity, with the unknown being the cost basis for those shares. I'm not sure how that would be treated or calculated. Is it the weighted average purchase price that GOR effectively paid for DEG?, unlikely.
More than likely it will be at the price you paid for GOR pro-rated % wise to the NST distribution.
