re: Ann: Clariification of CEO Change & Compa... Muppet , as far as the filter goes - they were originally going to bring it in in Jan to be installed by end Feb . They then announced it was being put off until they had more certainty surrounding the sale of the NMP . It was then announced it would be installed by arriving mid May and be operational by end July , they now say end Oct . This filter was previously assembled in Belgium , it was disassembled only to come here . 3 months is a long time to connect and commission a piece of machinery .

Using this filter is supposed to increase the throughput . This allows conversion from slag to Al , NMP and salts . Some Al returning to Alcoa , the salt as brine to retention ponds and the remaining Al80 bagged ie a reduction in total bagged material . You would want to be doing this ASAP . The Al80 is also not classified as is the salt slag .

You are correct when you say because the CEO has an electrical background that doesn't mean there couldn't be metallurgists and chemical engineers under him but also if they exist do they have any experience in this area ? It is a bit of a niche . You are right about what you say I am implying .

The company doesn't need to give exact details of product tonnage or spec. but announcements to the effect that the process was running , that NMP was actually being shipped in quantity ( and there must be a lot of it there now ) stockpiles were reducing and by what amount and that profit was being made at the previously forecast levels would be nice .
