I agree that the Placement route was by far the best option, but I'd suggest that the BoD is mindful not to be seen to have forgotten the retail investors, even though its a token offer available for them, and due to the 1:33 available might not even be well received by retail.
Anyone who dumps once the market recommences in the expectation of getting in closer to the New Share Issue price takes a risk! Of course the price will fall, but how far is anyone's guess - the reason being this is still a bloody cheap price IMO
