I think it's important to emphasise that whilst TLX, with a market cap of $5+ billion, has already got an established and highly profitable business in the very same radiopharmaceutical treatment of patients with prostate cancer.
This new "upstart" Clarity, with a market cap now approaching A$1 billion, has become a very serious threat to Telix through what appears to be a best-in-class imaging and therapy via its Cu64/Cu67 radioligand.
And Clarity's platform clearly has the potential to extend way beyond prostate cancer over time.
I'd certainly be worried if I was the CEO of TLX.
