Finally sold my WDS holding that has been underwater, in my portfolio, for years - dividends have been the only occasional good point.
I put the entire proceeds into topping up my AGL holding and have already recovered 25% of my WDS book loss.
AGL with its massive customer base is a great opportunity in the current market with a still depressed share price IMO and with dividends starting to grow again. I note the recent div is partly franked so more of that to come.
With respect to the future I'd rather listen to MCB, who has already figured out how to make a $billion. than a dopey politician who is only interested in his next sound bite. I reackon nuclear is a political super loser - Albo probably can't believe his luck on that one
I see no reason why AGL will not be a great long term opportunity for me at my $8.62 entry price.
