There might be 500k in the ground, but that's not the point, it's what it costs to get it out. It is very easy to loose big time getting it out . They know that: They just bled it, they didn't try to mine it, it was never a serious mining operation. They just dug down to show the gold was there & then bled the public mercilessly, mayby for 100 million. They did a 'show and tell', whilst collecting their half a mill salaries . Have you ever wondered why they didn't process enough to have it smelted for that gold bar, that the rabbit keeps going on about?
