a 326km round trip to the mill "isn't bad". It's certainly not great, don't get me wrong. But it's doable if you have the grade to support the economics. It's a pretty reasonable number to assume that for every 100km of transport, it costs you 1g/t. At least, that's the numbers I have been quoted.
Biggest concern is the toll treating you would need to do with the Chinese. Toll treating very rarely works out for the party without a mill. Just ask KDR how that went with Burbanks...
The number thrown around for a mill used to be $50M AUD. Obviously CLZ doesn't have a large enough resource to justify a mill that could run an operation that has 1Moz plus resource. I'd imagine that with inflation and the price of materials, a moderate mill/CIL operation(with room to expand) would still cost ~$20-30M to get something halfway decent.
