Great to see that people are finally beginning to realise that there is a lot more to turning a Prospect into a Mine other than just Drill Grades !
One of my biggest gripes is the use of "Basket Values", Nobody goes around touting that the "Basket Value" of their Gold mine is A$$2,000 ! OK it gives some indication as to the relative mix of RE's but it can not be used as a measure of a Prospects potential value. There is only one valid economic measure of a Rare Earth deposit's and that is the contained "Recoverable In-situ value". To determine that a Company has to consider a multitude of factors, first and foremost being "Metallurgical Recovery" which as SF2TH points out depends greatly on form and process, at this stage yet to be determined.
In addition to the Geological results; it would be great if mining Companies could provide their Shareholders with some early stage "De-risking" parameters. Location: - Availability of process water, Roads and transport, Distance from Service / population centres etc ? There is no point finding Eldorado if it is in the middle of a Desert or underneath a Major City unless those Geographic constraints can be addressed economically ?
