FWIW - as a general rule, I almost never participate in cap. raises now (for any stock).

I used to, but then kept observing SP drops below the cap raise price. If I liked a Co and want more exposure, I would ignore the cap. raise and buy on the market, when the SP was lower.

This of course defies the purpose the Co. is running the Cap raise for, but I justified it as 'well if my $5K can make or break this Co., there's something seriously wrong.' I acknowledge if everyone had this attitude, there'd be problems though.
