Whilst I agree and it is where the money is (retail), the fish itself doesnt have the versatility that other fish have. Eg; you wouldnt put Kingfish in a sandwich like a can of salmon. You wouldnt do this with Lobster either but is widely available and sells well through retail.
The trick is marketing and time.
Unfortunately CSS cant really afford either as it was too focused on biomass and revs, and deprioritised costs. This thing will be in the doldrums for a while yet. It will need 2 yrs to get out of this mess and need at least another $40M in capital.
