I don't see how having their own broker does anything to stop boy trading? And shorting is not manipulation. Using bots to drop the share price while shorting is of course, however that is no different to going long and manipulating the price higher.

This is a speculative stock. Look at how much the SP has increased over the last couple of years. Big price rises come with drops as well, shares don't go up indefinitely. If you want stable stocks, best look to the blue chip end of the market, but of course they can experience big swings as well.
