How true it is, I don't know, but one rumour I heard out of Dysart, was that MSV didn't like what the items ended up selling for, and there was talk that Pickles had mislead MSV as to the valuations of the items. There was then a dispute, talk of legal action...........and there you have it! MSV take more cash Pickles gets shares in lieu. MSV need the cash, and if QLD gets anymore rain, they'll need a lot more!!

Any talk of incorrect valuations isn't good for business, especially when you've gone to SH's for more cash to buy the gear a few weeks earlier. Market is what the market is. A drill not turning pipe (making money) is just a truck with a motor and a mast on the back. MSV has sold a dream, but they can't keep selling it. Utilisations have to go up, and profits have to be made.
