Traders and shorters having a picnic on the CCP market today. Shorters are not in huge numbers according to the ASX short sales figures site - .25% of shares but that is a relatively high percentage when compared to other finance stocks. My feeling is that the market is falling out of love with the debt collection agencies. I hope this is not the case as they are a needed part of the finance world and help ensure that debtors know that debts need to be paid otherwise the costs of not paying are passed onto the majority of honest people who maintain the efficiencies and keep the low costs of our finance system where they are.
