Because they're mostly noobs that bought the hype on FOMO, only know the "story" without fully understanding the business. And are wayyy overstretched so have an extreme emotional attachment to their funds aka losses from buying so high.
It gets pretty jittery like this on most stocks that have gone through an element of hype.
