If old information can be used, it would be things like metallurgy, geotechnical, geology etc. Research into the actual cost of things and how best to mine the resource that was left over by the previous owners and the additional resource drilled out by the company, is new information that needs to be assessed.
The JORC code doesn’t allow you to rely entirely on old information without some verification of your own. What this means is that the study probably happens faster than normal but still takes time.
