Time and Time again, you have those buying into the cum rights, convinced of the upward momentum, (created in part by those buying for rights) will be sustained.

Newbie - "the price was rising, it must be good, why would it pull back ?"
Veteran - "it always does.", nothing to do with the acquisition, just the market self fulfilling prophesy. Its one of those gap theories, that has some CR swap to it, as well as the buyer pool evaporating until it closes the gap.

AVZ was a recent exception , is why this camper took a small position at 2.6, which remains chicken feed, when the next acquisition is announced, or a drill into these DRC pegmatites hits paydirt.
