It's beyond bizarre that Peter Reeve dishes out these kind of pathetic deals to current shareholders while getting paid $450K per annum; this deal is an advertisement on what he currently brings to AEE & he has grossly failed existing shareholders.
While AEE's assets imo are good & it's very cheap at this market capital, Peter has positioned himself in a way where he will always be fine with his big wage, free no risk shares, and shitty deals like this that enable his long term vision, whereas existing shareholders wear the stress & are not part of his thinking.
Peter will need to deliver very soon if he wants to continue with his vision for the company, for at this point in time he is breathtakingly overpaid and lacking in real leadership; that is, he takes from the company and doesn't give back in any way, including performance.
If he's serious about the company and its shareholders, it's time to demonstrate it by tying his salary to performance & purchase some shares instead of knocking the General, John Bennett, who is on the front line with real skin in the game.
