    But is a company with more holders likely to ever reach a valuation that high? With that many holders, profit takers will continue to hold the share price down in perpetuity allowing short term traders to take bigger profits on pips. Even if the company does announce good things, they won't increase their SP because of this (yowzers)

    Less holders means less day traders, which means good news will influence the SP more readily.

    I don't know many companies on the ASX where someone owns the entire company then dilutes their position to hold with 7 others. But I suspect it would be a better scenario to have less holders in a company than more if you are a speculative company trading at low SPs.
