Yes, stuff is in the ground - but that's the problem, till it stays in the ground there is no revenue. Get a mine operating and get to the stuff in the ground. May be difficult to do but the concept doesn't sound too hard. AAU's job is to bring concept to life - not just life support.
A buyout may not be the worst case - depending on how the buyer intends to put life into concept. New blood, new ideas perhaps better ones? As for price offered, they'd get it for a song - that's the bad part.
