When cvw sold to centrepoint the financial advice businesses they got a 25% holding (48million shares @.25c a share) as part of the consideration. This was in August of 2021.also a cash consideration of $3.2M, total combine consideration of $15.2M
fast forward to today, they have sold 19.9% of the holding (39.56million shares @33c a,share) for a gain of 8cents a share, profit therefore of $3.1M.
Leaving a remaining holding in centrepoint shares of 8.4million @ todays shareprice of 27c a share or $2.2M.
so ended up getting $15.2M + $3.1M + $2.2M = $20.5M for the business.
be interesting to see if bulk of cash or even the remaining 5% odd is sold on market, and if so if the cash from profit and remaining share sell is paid as a special dividend!!!
