What has had me gobsmacked, is that at the beginning of the freebie period, when it got over 70,000 on a couple of days, it was completely chockers!! Cars were queued up to get IN to the tunnel!

How on earth do they expect to make money if the thing doesn't have the capacity to handle only 15% above their projected average??

And comparisons to the Gateway are like apples and oranges. The Gateway has always been able to make far greater time savings for drivers, and offers a clear run both north and south out of the city. Where does Clem 7 dump you? Woolloongabba, Kangaroo Point or Bowen Hills... hardly clear of the city is it?
