The equity injection from Leightons was immediately used to reduce the equity bridge facility - bringing it to $0.

It is my understanding that the headroom you see on the lending facility is to pay off the council works facility when that comes due.

Here are my calculations for this weeks revenue based on the announcement with the FULL (not discounted) toll rate.

Cars: 20,602 * 80.6% * $4.28 = 71070.31
Light Commercial: 20,602 * 13.7% * $6.42 = 18120.28
Heavy Commercial: 20,602 * 5.5% * $11.33 = 12838.14
Motorbike: 20,602 * .2% * $2.14 = 88.18

Total revenue for the week: $102,116.9
Extrapolated Annual Revenue: $5,310,079

Now, of course the amount of tunnel users is going to grow significantly in a short period of time.

But when you're sitting on a $1,366,000,000 pile of debt that requires 80-90 (maybe more) million $ worth of interest (and don't forget all the other operational costs - many millions more) to be paid each year you don't just need traffic to grow - you need it to multiply....a few times.

Frightening.
