The sector sucks, and is in decline, but it is the myriads of small and not-so-small firms that are shrinking, and the dominant players like Encore, Intrum, CCP and PRA are growing, because they have the funds to hurl at enabling technology, analytics and increasing regulatory hassles. The more regulation there is seems to suit the Big Boys.
Anyhow, I'll see how many CCP shares I'll hold in future when I find some place to invest what I could sell to lessen my concentration of share holdings in a few stocks (mainly CCP and NWH).
