I am still waiting for my hped-for big Announcement that is going to be the sockdolger that sends the SP heading upward. It makes no sense to have oodles of cash doing no more than lower interest expense. However, the funds may be deployed in getting new initiatives up and running, which would tend to be news worthy only when initiatives gain traction much later. Investment deployed into automating more of the cash-collection function would also be justified, and not brought to attention.
