Well it was forced upon them and they are making the best go at it. The question of whether you feel they are just paying lip service to this or not is another point for discussion.
Form what I have read the CTAP is welcomed and the market seem to like it. BPT's participation in CCS and CRC is a positive step in navigating the CC regulatory environment.
At this stage, however, the CCS seems to be an internal benefit program that ensures business sustainability. I have no idea about the scale of these things or the volumes involved but thinking out aloud I'm just wondering if the CCS consortium can sell CCS space for those producers seeking offsets and whether this could be made profitable.
Anyhow I'm enjoying the boost to the SP. Coto you, along with the rest of us, should be very happy.
