Agreed. Patience is required. Mr Market needs to finish throwing his toys out of the cot.
Today's selloff is a classic emotional panic to a temporary setback. A rational market would have already priced in this incident. This reminds me of Buffett's investment in American Express when it dropped 50% during the salad oil scandal. Peak fear can be a life changing entry point.
As a worst case, tighter regulations could be introduced to the industry leading to cost increases (incidentally, these would likely be passed on to customers). However I think it's highly unlikely MVF will lose its licence to operate or take a significant reduction in market share. MVF have been gaining market share through previous scandals.
A great price for long term entry IMO for those willing to look through the noise. Currently trading at <9X earnings, divvy yield ~6-8%, to acquire part of a market leader growing market share, earnings and free cashflow in a market with strong structural growth dynamics.
