My understanding is that this competition was set up by Andrew Froude, (now gone) for a few years, but has now been canned by the new administration, against the advice from senior executives and that they (Exec Chair) has also withdrawn OIL from attending and participation from the global Light Microscopy Conference to be held in Sydney later this year.
An opportunity missed? with the global target market community coming to Australia and no OIL in attendance, but at least we are saving money.
