A great word of advice contained within your post Davyb. Indeed it is unlikely that all trials will be successful as you have pointed out. I would just like to add that a negative trial while not great for the SP and investors also happens to be progress in the science world. These drugs must be tested if they appear to be promising in the petrie dish. Ruling them in or out is progress whether we as investors like it or not. I would sooner add my donation towards science at this more advanced stage than donate to the charities. Each to his own I guess - just a dose of realism for today after being reminded by Davyb.
