I suspect that IMU is paying for this phase and if it looks good, I think that Merck/Pfizer may take control of a Phase 3 trial as they will most likely want more control and they have much bigger teams and resources and connections to draw upon.
Case of IMU strutting their stuff and impressing Big Pharma.
Good move I think.
Just the start of potential partnerships.
