Index funds will not be buying now, they will buy in the closing auction on 21 June. Others with discretionary cash will be buying now and selling into the closing auction on 21st, hoping to make a short term profit.
No one knows how many shares are held, ready to be sold in that closing auction, so sometimes supply exceeds demand and the price falls, sometimes demand exceeds supply and the price rises.
The only certainty will be huge volume in the closing auction.
