Some may be pleased, I’d personally rather them invest this money in the actual business though. Too many opportunities that deserve pursuing aggressively, Clinuvel has a pipeline that appears to be endless and absolutely enormous in its magnitude.
However if history serves as any indication, this will continue to be more of a threat than anything else. There to keep shorters on edge, but most of the money set aside should hopefully be predominantly used in furthering their incredibly exciting expansionary plans at an aggressive pace to achieve monumental long term success (the potential of the pipeline means that this could easily be one of the biggest companies on the ASX, with time), rather than wasted via a buyback to please the impatience of investors
