I suspect that the forward momentum won't be sufficient to withstand the profit taking that started today and will only pick up pace tomorrow. Perhaps there will be enough demand to absorb it, but I doubt it. I expect us to be back in the low 6s next week and to stay there for a while until the overhang is absorbed. Only a left-field surprise will change this, such as oil suddenly running up to $60 or resolving all the disputes with the Thai Guy - which seems unlikely now that the board seat is off the table.
