Clearly nobody is buying what they're selling for a price that would make it worthwhile. Both assets have serious problems. The Paguanta resource has no suitable transport infrastructure and would require at least 15km of truck-bearing road to be built through very difficult terrain, plus probably upgrades in other places along the route. And Kouri is in Burkina Faso, which fact alone is enough to crush its value. Just look at how far below its peers WAF is trading, and given the stellar performance and consistency they've achieved it can only be the sovereign risk that's suppressing its price.

I'm not holding my breath waiting for divestment. Even with tadpole gills, I couldn't do it! We investors are going to have to carry Kiaka through on our own.
