re: Ann: Closing date of prospectus brought f... DAV, there are of course other possibilities.
Bearing in mind the SP is waning (to say the least) my guess would be that announcing that the "threat of further capital erosion has been cancelled", was expected to have been seen as a POSITIVE move, rather than inviting further selling down to 1.7 cents. Why positive? Because my guess is the thinking goes, the threat of capital erosion would be maintaining a negative focus on the stock. So stop the negative overview by closing the prospectus, and saying no capital raisings in near future.
What this might also tell you is a change in strategy. That is, financing will now happen inside project structures rather than within CXY. A little overdue in my opinion, but welcome nontheless.
What is obvious to me, no doubt one or two or my fellow HCer's to, is that CXY is being oversold right now. That would also suggest a deliberate sell down. Perhaps a large holder is being forced out? Perhaps it is a final squeeze to get a few weak hands to sell up? Perhaps it is something else?
