why would SBSW pay $490M USD for 50% of the project plus $50M for north basin at some point in the future, when they could acquire 100% of INR for $400M AUD?
Sibanye's shares are near 5 year lows on its own debt and operating issues, do you think they aren't thinking of ways to renegotiate this deal? something is going on behind the scenes and the board aren't telling us what's happening.
